Poor posture can be bad for your health and may be the most common spine related health concern. Whether you notice it yourself hunched in the mirror, or friends and family are constantly making comments for you to sit up straight, you may have what doctors call a “hyperkyphosis”. The standard for defining a hyperkyphosis would be an angle over 50 degrees which leads to the rounded appearance of the upper back.
Symptoms
Hunched over appearance, usually more pronounced when viewed from the side as you're bending forward.
Mild to severe back pain or stiffness.
Loss of height.
Difficulty standing straight upright, worsening over the course of the day.
Fatigue
Headaches & Migraines
