A summary —
Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, drug-free, and hands-on healthcare discipline that focuses on the neuromuscular system: your nerves, bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments all working together.
Many problems and pains can either be from neuromuscular issues, or be alleviated through addressing the neuromuscular system. In short: chiropractic care can help many problems with the human body.
THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
The nervous system consists of the brain, spinal cord, sensory organs and all of the nerves that connect these organs with the rest of the body. All of your consciousness and bodily functions are managed through the brain, and the network of nerves that control your body run from your brain to your spine and then throughout the rest of the body.
Attached to your spinal cord, web-like nerves run messages and responses between every muscle, tissue, organ, and system. If one of them gets pinched it can lead to all kinds of things that can cause stress or pain to the body.
