DR. PAYNE

Dr. Greg Payne, Chiropractor & Clinical Director
Dr. Greg Payne earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1992. With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Payne brings a unique background that includes assisting in hundreds of orthopedic surgeries and prior training in acupuncture—ultimately choosing to dedicate his career to advanced, non-operative spinal care.
He is one of the few chiropractors in Canada with advanced certification in Chiropractic BioPhysics® (CBP®), a leading research-based approach to structural spinal correction. As the clinical director of AVANT Chiropractic, Dr. Payne has built the practice around this evidence-informed model of care. He is also a certified ScoliBrace® provider and an accredited ScoliBalance® (PSSE) practitioner, offering non-invasive solutions for individuals with scoliosis and postural disorders.
Known for his genuine enthusiasm, deep clinical expertise, and patient-centered approach, Dr. Payne continues to lead AVANT with passion, purpose, and a commitment to helping patients move, feel, and live better.

HEIKE

Heike is our Administrative Office Manager. She's an integral part of AVANT, handling daily operations, behind-the-scenes work, and projects around the clinic. You may notice her German efficiency and subtle Southern accent – always with a smile.

Meet-
PHIL

Phil is our Chiropractic Technical Assistant and resident Kinesiologist. He is excited to begin helping patients on the traction tables and with their exercise programs. Phil recently graduated from Algonquin College where he studied therapeutic recreation. He also has his bachelors degree in kinesiology from York University, where he played linebacker on their varsity football team. Outside of work you can probably find Phil doing something active, such as running along the canal, group fitness classes, or playing basketball at Carleton!
